Duration
One Year full time

Attendance
You are expected to be available to attend college Monday to Thursday 9.30 to 3.00pm and Friday 9.30 am to 3.00pm. Your timetable will be 15 hours per week and will be explained to you at interview.

Course description
The aims of this qualification are to meet the needs of candidates who want to enter Higher Education in ICT. It will prepare successful learners for progression to HND or Degree programmes.

Course Structure
The course covers web design, multimedia, computer components, programming, information systems, database design, spreadsheet models, study skills and communications and number key skills.

Course Assessment
Assessment takes place throughout the year with a series of assignments, there are regular tutorials that help you progress.

Course
This course is especially for mature students (19 plus) and has no formal entry requirements. You will be expected to demonstrate an appropriate command of English and Numeracy as well as basic computer skills.
