About this course

No formal qualifications required. However students have to demonstrate appropriate commmunication and numerical skills, at least at Level 1 or 2.

All applicants will sit a written entry test and must reflect a positive attitude and enthusiasm about their chosen career.

Course Content

Law modules: Law and morality; Court systems; Criminal law; Sex and race discrimination; Sources of law; Legal project; Contract law; Civil liberties; Negligence; Legal institutions
Teaching/Assessment
Students will have practical activities and theory based lectures.
All students are required to study research and key skills.
Students will be assessed through a variety of written and oral assignments.
Progression
Through continuous assessment, sufficient credits can be gained on this programme which would enable a student to progress to Higher Education [e.g.a degree in law.]

Full time students will be required to pay a registration fee of approximately Ã,£20.
