Summary
This level 2 course is a practical, one year art course. Over the year students learn technical and creative skills across a very wide range of art practices. It is delivered through practical projects and helps the student to build a portfolio of work to enable them to progress to a higher level. This is a full time course and students will be expected to attend College on at least 3 days per week with 2 days home study.

Qualifications
First Diploma in Art & Design. GCSE Photography.

Progression Routes
Successful students can progress onto a variety of National Diplomas in Art and Design (equivalent to 3 A Levels).

Entry Requirements
GCSE grade D-E plus a portfolio of Art & Design and a strong interest in the subject.

Course Content
