This course will enable you to develop your skills in drawing, painting, design including graphic design, jewellery making, textiles and fashion, photography as well as skills to set up your own business. Most students who study this course go on to apply for a degree course as progression. The course is worth 3 A levels.

Will I have to sit any examinations?
You will be assessed on your practical work throughout the course.

What will I have at the end of the course?
At the end of the course you will have a WJEC Pre-degree Diploma in Art & Design.

What next?
After completing the course you will be able to study a degree in a more specialised field in Art & Design. Many of our past-students are now working as self-employed artists or designers, graphic designers and three-dimensional designers. Others are now working for multi-media companies or working as furniture, jewellery or ceramic designers.
