Content If you enjoy drawing, painting or simply doing your own creative work, if Art was your favourite subject at school - this is an ideal and realistic chance to take the first steps towards what could be an exciting future in Art and Design. This course provides a first step towards a career in Art and Design. You will study a range of units exploring exciting areas of 2D and 3D materials and techniques.. You will look at the work of other artists and designers to gain understanding and inspire your own work. Areas explored include sculpture, ceramics, graphics, jewellery, textiles, painting, print, drawing, and photography. Your course will also give you the opportunity to visit galleries, museums and exhibitions. If you are 16-18 or if this is your FIRST level 2 course eg less than 5 Cs at GCSE - it is FREE.
