Is the course for me?
This course is suitable for students who want to develop their skills in music programming, recording and production skills.

What will I learn?
You will develop music programming, recording and production skills. Use microphones and mixing controls to record live bands and solo artists. Explore the business and historical aspects of the music industry. Use midi/audio sequencing software to compose original music.

How will I be assessed?
You will be required to complete an assignment in each of the eight areas of study gaining credits for work submitted. The qualification is awarded on achieving 48 credits. Units are assessed using Pass, merit, Distinction and work can be resubmitted.

What can I do after the course?
You can progress onto the Level 3 course.
