Is this course right for me?

This is course is an entry level programme, it is designed to enable to develop your basic skills and an introduction in to plumbing and heating industry. It is a practical based programme and designed to assist you in building self confidence and progression

What will I be learning?

You will learn practical plumbing skills and techniques and methods of installation and repairs. It will also include an element on construction technology which is intended to provide you with a wider understanding of the industry

How will I learn?

You will learn in excellent workshops and the 'theory' element of the programme will be taught alongside the practical. The course will be delivered to suit you and your progress and development will be dicussed with you to enable you to succeed.

What else might I want to know?

If you have recieved additional learning support whilst at school or feel you may need support whilst at college your individual needs will be quickly identified and met.

What can I do afterwards?

You can progress to our level 1 plumbing programme or any other level 1 programme at South Devon College and if you are really determined we have programmes that allow you to progress right up to a level 4 or an apprenticeship.
