Course Summary:
The full-time Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing NVQ level one course is an introduction to careers in both hairdressing and beauty, leading to NVQ1 qualifications in both subjects. Half of the one-year course will be devoted to Hairdressing and the other half to Beauty. This course can give you the opportunity to choose which direction to take.

Course Details:
The course consists of theoretical lessons combined with the development of practical skills. Both courses are college based.

Career Progression:
Successful students who achieve merits or above in their coursework at level 1 can progress on to either NVQ2 in Hairdressing

OR on to NVQ2 in Beauty Therapy.

Fees:
Students will be expected to buy their own materials for the course, including a uniform, make-up kit and book. These can be ordered at the beginning of the course from nominated suppliers and will cost approximately 35.
