Summary
This is a 1 year full-time programme giving the student the option of a full time NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy Massage route. This is a practically based course and students will work on members of the public in our In Vogue Salons. To supplement your training some sessions will take place using Spa facilities outside of the College. You will be required to purchase a kit, including a white beauty uniform for use on the course and you will be asked to wear enclosed shoes for practical work.

Qualifications
Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy Massage route. Diploma in Reflexology and Diploma in Health, Safety, Security & Employment Standards.

Progression Routes
Foundation Degree in Salon Management.

Mandatory Units, G1 Ensure your own actions reduce risks to Health and Safety, G6 Promote additional products of services to clients, G11 Contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business, BT17 Provide head and body massage treatment, BT20: Provide Indian Head Massage, BT21: Provide massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils, BT29 Provide specialist spa treatments, Anatomy & Physiology underpinning knowledge.

Additional Costs
There will be an additional cost for trips and activities throughout the year of £60.00 which will be paid at the beginning of the year.
