Summary
This is a 10 month intensive training programme based on practical work. During classes you will be working on members of the public in our In Vogue Salons. You will be required to purchase a kit, including a Beauty uniform, and equipment for use on the course, and you will be asked to wear flat enclosed shoes for practical work. The hours are arranged over two and a half days per week: Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Qualifications
Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) NVQ Level 2 Beauty Therapy and Swedish Massage Certificate.

Progression Routes
On achieving this qualification you may be able to progress on to the NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy programme, subject to an interview with the course director.

Additional Costs
Students have the opportunity to enrol for other short or one day courses at West Suffolk College for an additional fee, to include Indian Head Massage, St Tropez Tanning, Tooth Fairy and Ear Piercing. Costs are accurate at time of printing but maybe subject to amendment: Uniform £40 (approximately), Kit £175 (approximately), Recommended text book: Beauty Therapy - The Foundations: The Official Guide to Level 2, fourth edition £23 (approximately) Lorraine Nordmann.
