Introduction
This course provides training in a variety of facial and beauty skills.

Description
There are 9 mandatory beauty skills units covered on this course including * Providing manicure treatment * Providing pedicure treatment * Improving and maintaining facial skin condition * Providing eyelash and eyebrow treatments * Removing hair using waxing techniques * Providing a make up treatment * Developing and maintaining effectiveness at work * Promoting products and services to clients * Health & Safety There is also additional training courses including ear piercing and roller waxing. You will also cover key skills.

Duration
One year

Method of Study
You will learn through practical and theoretical study in lessons, supplemented by coursework. When you are competent and confident you will be required to work on members of the public who book appointments in our commercial salon.

Progression
Successful completion of level 2 provides you with a range of beauty skills with which to seek employment. However it should be recognized that wider opportunities are available if you progress to and achieve Level 3, subject to interview and references.
