About this course

The entry requirements are that you have successfully completed the NCFE Diploma in Counselling, NQF Level 4, 450 hours or the City and Guilds Higher Professional Diploma in Counselling. Alternatively you may seek APEL (Approved Prior Experiential Learning).

Is this course for you
This degree will enhance your already existing level of professionalism, knowledge and understanding. The degree will enable you to work with the creative and expressive arts in therapeutic sessions with both individual clients and diverse groups and as such has been designed so that 40% of the academic delivery time will be in practical experiential sessions. It is a unique and innovative programme in East Anglia, which will put you ahead of others in the field of counselling. This is a franchised course with Anglia Ruskin University.

Duration
Two years (full time). Delivery is on one day each week.

The majority of the assessment is by coursework. You will undertake case studies, journal writings, essays and presentations, which will allow you to develop your learning throughout each module.
