Is this course for you
This degree will enhance your already existing level of professionalism, knowledge and understanding. The degree will enable you to work with the creative and expressive arts in therapeutic sessions with both individual clients and diverse groups and as such has been designed so that 40% of the academic delivery time will be in practical experiential sessions. It is a unique and innovative programme in East Anglia, which will put you ahead of others in the field of counselling. This is a franchised course with Anglia Ruskin University.

Duration
Two years (full time). Delivery is on one day each week.

Modules include: Introduction to Counselling Philosophy * Affective Neuroscience Approaches * Introduction to Research Methodology in the Arts in Counselling * Creative Arts in Counselling * Expressive Arts in Counselling * Undergraduate Major Project * Introduction to Existential Philosophies * Working with Relational Depth.

How will you be assessed
The majority of the assessment is by coursework. You will undertake case studies, journal writings, essays and presentations, which will allow you to develop your learning throughout each module.
