Course Description:
This diploma encourages learners to develop thier full potential at Level 1. The programme has been designed to provide a broad educational basis for further training and further education or for moving into appropriate employment within the business, retail and administration sectors.

Content: Students study 3 core units:

• Starting work in Business, Retail and Administration
• Working in Business, Retail and Administration
• Introducing Customer Service

In addition students study 2 personal skills units and 3 vocational option units.

Assessment and Progression:
Two of the core units will be externally assessed. The remaining units will be internally assessed.

On successful completion of this course, students could progress to the BTEC First Diploma in Business (Level 2 qualification).

This is a full time course for the duration of one year starting in September.
