Course Description:
This programme is to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to find employment within the hospitality industry or to progress to the BTEC Award in Hospitality.

Students will follow the following modules:

• Exploring the Hospitality Industry
• Customer Relations in Hospitality
• Safety in Hospitality
• Planning and Running a Hospitality Event
• Developing Employability Skills in Hospitality
• Basic Culinary Skills

Assessment and Progression:
The First Diploma is assessed through a variety of assignments and course work.

On successful completion of the course, students can progress onto the BTEC Level 3 Award in Hospitality.

This is a one year full time course starting in September.
