Course Description
By spending three days per week in college and two days per week on work placement, you will learn the theory of the all round development of children within the early years sector.
The college has a very good range of placements in early years including special needs. All placements are arranged by college. You must complete 300 hours in placement to pass the course and be passed as competent by your placement supervisor. This requires you to be reliable in your attendance and punctual at all times.
You will study an NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development alongside this course, as well as Key Skills in IT, English Speaking Board and Managing Money.
