Level Two | The Centre for Rural and Equine Studies | Full-Time

Course Description
This one year course covers a wide range of countryside activities from land use to practical countryside skills. The course provides a basic introduction for those hoping to embark on an outdoor career in the countryside. Some of the units are taught in conjunction with agriculture and horticulture including work experience on a farm or estate with a gamekeeper, walling or fencing contractor or landscape gardener. This largely practical course is complemented by Key Skills and in addition you may study a range of practical quali�cations including chainsaw work and pesticide spraying (subject to age and aptitude). You will need outdoor clothing and may be asked to contribute to trips.
