· Course Overview: · The course is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to progress on to a BTEC National Diploma course in Performing Arts, an AVCE in Performing Arts or arts based AS levels. It is a practical course with the emphasis on acting and performing.

Entry Requirements: · An intermediate course suitable for those who have at least 4 GCSEs at grades D or a relevant/equivalent Level 1 qualification. This could be a BTEC Introductory Diploma, a City and Guilds qualification, an NVQ Level 1, a GNVQ Foundation or relevant work experience. Applicants without formal academic qualifications would be considered based on the presentation of a portfolio of work and/or attendance at a selection workshop.
