Is it right for me?
This one year academic and practical course provides a foundation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills to help you gain entry to the Outdoor Adventure Industry. During the course you will study a range of practical activities giving opportunities to develop your personal and leadership skills.

What qualifications will I need?
Minimum four GCSEs at grades D to E. An essential requirement for the course is lots of enthusiasm for outdoor activities and an interest in activity leadership.

Where will it take me?
Employment within the Outdoor Adventure Industry or entry to the other Outdoor Adventure courses at Kingston Maurward.

BCU 1'2 star kayaking.
Community Sports Leader Award.
First Aid Certificate.

What materials are required?
Warm outdoor clothing, approach shoes, Kingston Maurward College Outdoor Adventure & Sports Coaching polo shirt. Stationery.
