Course Description
This introductory level course gives a taste of a variety of sports activities and is a forerunner to the National Certificate/Award. It includes theory work but is mostly practical with visits to various sports facilities to take part in a wide range of sports related activities.

On Completion
Students will achieve the equivalent of 4 GCSEs grades A* - C. A pass, merit or distinction gained on this course would enable students to then progress onto a BTEC National Certificate/Award or another level 3 course or training.
