Introduction
This is a one year full time course aimed at those people wishing to raise the standard of their abilities, both academic and practical.

Description
The course offers a range of practical and academic classes. Students will undertake practical assessments in Brickwork, Painting and Decorating, Electrical Installations, Carpentry and Joinery and Plumbing. The course content is divided into two fifths practical and three fifths theory.

Progression
You can progress on to a NVQ level 2 in a trade of your choice if you find suitable employment, or a BTEC First diploma in Construction or a Foundation Construction Award (FCA).
