· Course Overview: · The BTEC Introductory Diploma in Construction is equivalent to four GCSEs grade D-G and is composed of eight units. You learn by completing practical tasks in three of the six construction areas of joinery, trowel, painting and decorating, plumbing and electrical, building maintenance and the built environment. You will also work on developing personal skills and gain an understanding of career options within construction, as well as safe working practices.

Entry Requirements: · An introductory course suitable for beginners. School leavers should aim for at least 4 GCSEs at grades E-G. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment and good communication skills.
