Introduction
The course is an opportunity to develop an understanding of the aspects of health and Social care work and the possible career pathways.

Description
You will develop your understanding of the Health and Social Care field and develop your own practical and interpersonal skills. The course covers topics such as starting work in the Health and Social Care field, images of people, Health and the environment and exploring local services. You will also develop skills which will help you in other areas of life such as effective communication, numeric and IT skills. Most of your study will take place in the classroom, however there will be day in a work placement to put into practice the theory and to develop your awareness of all aspects of the Health and Social Care work
