Course Details

A full time Level 1 qualification designed to encourage you to develop the personal skills and qualities you need for work or progression onto higher level qualifications. The course is primarily aimed at school leavers wanting to continue their full time education. Units will include: Starting work in the IT Industry, Working in the IT Industry, Developing Skills in IT, Personal Effectiveness, Financial Management, PC Systems, Using the Internet and IT Applications

Qualifications required:
Foundation Tracks or 4 GCSE's at E-F grade, including maths and English at E grade

Additional info:
The course is assessed via a number of assignments and externally set work. To complete the course you will need to carry out research on a number of industry related topics. In addition to the hours in class you will need to use allocated study time and your own time to successfully complete the course.
