Course Description:
This programme of study is designed for 16 - 19 year olds to enhance learners' Work and Life Skills' in a range of IT and Computing vocational contexts.

An important element of this programme is the tutorial programme which offers support and guidance to the group and to individuals throughout thier study.

During the interview students will be expected to demonstrate knowledge and a practical ability in IT and Computing by completing a multiple choice questionnaire and a practical assessment.
Students will be expected to successfully pass an assignment in the first four weeks of term in order to continue on the course.
Progression & AssessmentAssessment and Progression:
Coursework is assessed continually during the year.
Progression
Following on from this course you could progress onto a Level 2 programme in IT and Computing, subject to successful completion of the whole course and a satisfactory end of year report.

Students on a full-time course of 12.5 hours a week who are aged under 19 on 31 August are entitled to free tuition and no exam fees provided they are European Union Citizens.
