Educational visits are an essential part of this course and provide excellent opportunities for research to obtain information for coursework. It is not possible to achieve the full qualification without participating in an overseas residential visit. Because of this students must be in possession of a full passport and be in a position to obtain a visa to leave and re-enter the UK. You will need to make a contribution of approximately ?500 over the two years of the course towards the cost of the visits, depending on the final programme of visits arranged.

Progression:
Higher education, or a career in the UK or overseas. Employment opportunities exist in the following areas: leisure and business travel agency work, tour operation, overseas holiday rep work, air cabin crew, the cruise industry, customer service in theme parks and other tourist attractions.
