· Course Overview: · This course is broad based and encompasses a range of well-defined art and design principles. Through a process of both practical and creative assignments, students will develop 3D and interior design based skills. These include developing colour schemes, scale drawings, historical and conceptual research, exploration of a range of materials, computer aided design and model making. This course is equivalent to 3 A Levels and is therefore an ideal choice for those wishing to progress to Higher Education.

Entry Requirements: · An advanced course suitable for those with at least 5 GCSEs at grades A-C or a relevant level 2 qualification such as BTEC First Diploma, GNVQ Intermediate, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent/relevant work experience. Applicants with no formal qualifications will be considered following the outcome of a guidance interview and on their portfolio of work.
