Course Description: This course introduces students to a wide range of construction related knowledge. Work is assessed via written assignments and participation in practical activities including material testing, surveying and setting out processes.

Entry requirements:
- 4 GCSEs a grade C or above or
- BTEC First Diploma in Construction (or a related area) or
- an Intermediate GNVQ in an appropriate related area
Progression/Career Opportunities: Many students use their qualification to progress onto a higher education courses. Alternatively, successful completion of the course can enable students to progress to trainee management positions, or pursue a career in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Construction Management.
