Course description
This is a vocational course delivered through the study of 18 units over 2 years which will introduce you to the skills, understanding and knowledge necessary for work in the care industry. Units that will be studied include:

You will attend compulsory work placements with early years and the elderly; maintain a portfolio of evidence covering your experienecs during the work placements; work in teams supporting your peers to research and develop a variety of topics.

Applicants should have a minimum of 4 GSCEs at grade C or above, including Maths, English and Science.

Additional information
This qualification is achieved by coursework only. There are no exams. Students will complete a written assignment for each unit.
