BTEC National Diploma in Media Production

Course Description: Eighteen units will be covered over two years and will allow students to study a broad range of media disciplines. Units include:
  • Production Management
  • Video Editing
  • Sound on Screen
  • Camera Skills
  • Animation
  • Journalism and Public Relations

Students will have the opportunity to attend a work experience placement at media companies in the locality, such as BBC, ITV or Red Dragon.

Entry Requirements: 4 GCSE passes at grade C or above or equivalent qualification.

Progression/Career Opportunities: The course will benefit those students who wish to:
  • Progress to make a career in Film, Television, or Advertising or
  • Pursue a HND or Degree in Media/Interactive Media.
