4 GCSEs at grades A* - C; or
GNVQ Intermediate in a related subject; or
BTEC First Diploma in a related subject; or
Other recognised UK/Overseas related FE Level 2 awards.

PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE
This course is for those students who wish to train for professional work as performers in dance. Consisting of 18 units, the course will develop the skills needed to dance and perform upon the stage and will be a good preparation for studying dance or performing arts at university or specialist dance schools. The course is geared to practical and vocational work, which will establish technical skills and good working practice for performers as well as seeking to develop students' experience, confidence and imagination in performance. You will also learn about how the entertainment industry works and how Performing Arts relates to and interacts with society.
