The part-time route covers the same modules, but over a three year period. Under this route the first four modules are taken in year one, second four in year two, and the final four modules in year three.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment may include a variety of formal and informal techniques via a combination of work-based learning and other more traditional means of assessment such as;
Business Report this might be based on a review of desk and field research as well as academic literature
Projects this will be a combination of individual and team based work
Essays this will cover academic understanding, analysis and evaluation
Oral Presentations this will be delivered as an individual or as part of a small team to other members of your peer group
Reflective Log this is an ongoing reflective account of both your personal and academic progress.
When does it start?
How long does it take?
It is a two year full time course split into four semesters (half years). Formal lectures and seminars are timetabled on the first two days of the week. The rest of the week is set aside for private study and tutorials. There is also the opportunity to take other business related qualifications, particularly in the field of Information Technology. The part-time version takes three years split into six semesters . Attendance on the part-time route can be either one full day (Tuesday) or two evenings (Tuesday/Thursday)

Anyone wishing to gain a higher level qualification in business and successful employment in management
What are the entry requirements?
You must be at least 18 years old and have communication and numeracy skills at level 2 or above. The other requirement is 40 UCAS points in the form of, for example:
- One A Level or AS pass
- An AVCE Single Award
- An Advanced GNVQ
- A BTEC National Certificate or Diploma
Mature students with limited academic qualifications will be considered if they have appropriate work experience.
