Description:
The certificate in Tourism Employment is a vocational course which helps students develop skills which are valued by Travel and Tourism employers.
Modules are selected for their relevance to careers in overseas tour operations, retail travel, airline customer service and UK tourism promotion.
The course will appeal to students who:
· are keen to learn more about this dynamic industry;
· are interested in a career in Travel and Tourism and wish to build upon their employability skills;
· are looking for a course which is varied and enjoyable.

Progression:
Entry Requirements:
Students must have one of the following: 4 GCSEs at grade C or above; A BTEC First Diploma in a related subject.; Students without GCSE English at grade C or above will be encouraged to re-sit this subject which is highly valued by Travel and Tourism employers. Applications are also welcome from mature students, where entry requirements are by negotiation.
