Course Description
A Level Chemistry is a natural progression from GCSE Chemistry or GCSE Science. The course aims to develop your knowledge and understanding of Chemistry to provide a pathway to further study while ensuring relevance to contemporary issues. Chemistry is an essential subject for many scientific degree courses such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry and Biology.

• Module 2: Chemistry in Action
• Module 3: Investigative and Practical Skills

A2 Level

• Module 4: Kinetics, Equilibria and Organic Chemistry
• Module 5: Energetics, Redox and Inorganic Chemistry
• Module 6: Investigative and Practical Skills Method of Assessment Examination, practical assessment and investigative assignment

AS to A2 Level
A2 progression to other AS/A2 levels or Higher Education e.g. HNC/D or BA (Hons)
Employment requiring a Level 3 qualification
