How Will I Be Assessed?
For successful completion of the Diploma you will be continually assessed through coursework and by completing 800 hours of placement experience over the two years.
The placements are arranged in a variety of settings including: nursery, private school, state school, special needs school, childminder or crche.
You will complete practical tasks within class and whilst on placement within the following age ranges 0-1, 1-3, 3-5, 5-8.
What Can I Do Next?
Once finished you can work with children aged 0-8 years in any early years setting including: nurseries, schools and with children with special needs. You may also attend higher education to study teaching, childrens nursing, social work or other related courses.
