You are expected to be available to attend college Monday to Thursday 9am to 5.30pm and Friday 9am to 4.30pm.
Course Description
The course includes a wide variety of skills in both general and legal administration. It offers a broad range of subjects and ensures that students are both prepared and qualified for a career in the administration or secretarial environment.
Course Structure
The main course consists of 2 units:
Legal Word Processing and
Working in the Legal Environment
You will also take a Text Processing qualification at level 2 and key skills as appropriate.
Course Assessment
Each of the 2 main units are assessed by means of externally set and internally marked time constrained assignments plus an externally set and marked proof reading test.
The Text Processing qualification is assessed by means of an externally set and marked time constrained examination.

Course Costs
There are no course fees if you are under 19 years old on 31 August 2010. However, you may have to pay for textbooks, personal kits, uniforms, trips and personal stationery. You will be informed of these at your interview.

Activities such as trips and visits will be arranged, which are beneficial to this course and your learning. These activities are optional and additional fees will be charged to you. Details will be provided at the time of interview.
