Complementary Therapies VTCT Certificate
This course offers a range of full and part time therapies which enable you to develop the theoretical and practical skills required to become a practising Complementary Therapist. You will cover therapies such as reflexology, aromatherapy, Swedish massage, Indian head massage, holistic facial, thermal auricular and Reiki, as well as health and safety and related anatomy.

During the course you will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of linked activities including visits to trade fairs and exhibitions. You will also have the chance to be involved in on-site community work and demonstrations.

You will be assessed during the course by carrying out practical treatments in the commercial salons and by completing written assessments, projects and assignments.

You are required to purchase a therapy kit, appropriate protective clothing and textbooks.

Further Study/Employment
You can progress to the VTCT Advanced Diploma in Complementary Therapies. This course prepares you for employment within a salon, therapy clinic or health spa or for self-employment.
