These are practical courses which build on the skills attained from the Level 1 course.
You will learn further in: Brickwork; Carpentry; Plastering or Painting and Decorating skills, as well as organisational skills.

Course Structure:
Mainly practical with some classroom theory.

Course resources:
There are two well equipped specialist carpentry workshops and two speciallist brickwork shops. All students have access to our fully equipped state of the art learning centre. This included free internet access.

Assessment:
Continuous practical assessment and on line CGLI tests

Next step:
A higher level course or an apprenticeship or National Certificate in Construction.

Fees Info
The fee where stated is an 'INCLUSIVE FEE' for UK/EU students. This fee includes the tuition fee, examination fee and exam board registration fee. You may have to pay extra for materials for the course. If you are under 19 years or you are in receipt of an income related benefit the course and exam fee is FREE. Students aged 60+ years pay 70% of this fee. Students aged 19+ will also have to pay a College Registration Fee of £30 (or £20 if you receive benefit) once per academic year.Materials costs:
The tutor will advise you about any materials costs.
