· Course Overview: · A level 1 diploma will enable the learner to acquire the knowledge and understanding that will help them to gain employment in the construction industry.

Entry Requirements: · An introductory course suitable for beginners. School leavers should aim for at least 4 GCSEs at grades E-G. Applicants with no formal qualifications will be considered following an assessment. All applicants will be required to pass an aptitude entry test which is run by the college. Successful completion of the BTEC Introductory Certificate/Diploma in Construction or the Foundation Certificate in Building Craft Occupations will give exemption from this test.
