Attendance
You will be expected to attend college Monday to Wednesday 9am to 5.30pm Thursday flexibility approach to work on Speciality Nights and Friday 9am to 4.30pm.

You will be given the opportunity to study a wide variety of subjects including:
- The Hospitality Industry
- Health, Safety and Security in the Hospitality Industry
- Team Leading and Supervision
- Customer Care in Hospitality
- Hospitality Business Operations
- Conferencing and Banqueting Operations
- You will also study Key Skills which include Maths and English.
Course Assessment
You will be assessed through practical/written assignments that will be expected for completion inside/outside of college hours

Course Costs
There are no course fees if you are under 19 years old on 31 August 2010. However, you may have to pay for textbooks, personal kits, uniforms, trips and personal stationery. You will be informed of these at your interview.
A kitchen and restaurant uniform is required. You will be sent a form on receipt of your completed application form and acceptance onto the course.
Course Enrichment
Activities such as trips and visits will be arranged, which are beneficial to this course and your learning. These activities are optional and additional fees will be charged to you. Details will be provided at the time of interview.
Part of the course you will take part in work placements in a variety of job roles.
Course Progression
Progression on completion of the course may include a higher level course such as an HND or Degree.

Career prospects are excellent within this expanding industry, which is continually on the lookout for skilled employees, locally, nationally and internationally.
This qualification will provide opportunities to gain work in a supervisory role such as assistant manager within a wide range of areas in the Hospitality Industry. These could include working in hotels, Army, National Health Service, contract catering and event catering.
