This course is the continuation of the HNC in Electrical Engineering, expanding on the extensive material covered in the first year. The Electrical Engineering industry has many areas for students to progress their careers through power Engineering, distribution, power control, electrical maintenance facilities, manufacturing, petrochemical, service and electrical construction sector.

Subjects covered are: Business, Quality Management, Transmission Lines, Electrical Installation Design, Motor Systems, Transformers, Utilisation of Electrical Energy, Analogue and Digital Electronics, Control Systems Behaviour, Mathematics 3, Switchgear and Protection HV Systems, 3-Phase Motors and Electrical Engineering Graded Unit Project.

On-Line -Blended Learning , which requires access to the internet will be used in this course.

Further Study/Employment
Progression through an accepted route to BEng or BSc Degree courses at 3rd year.
