What stands out about this course?

If you love reading, theatre, writing and language, then English Language A Level is for you. The English tutors are passionate about their subject and pride themselves on their ability to transmit their enthusiasm and interest to the students. On the course you will explore and develop the written and spoken language in use and learn about how language is changing in response to new developments like texting. You will investigate questions such as ‘What benefits does diverse English offer?’ and ‘Do males and females use language differently?’ You will learn linguistic methods to analyse and investigate a variety of extracts taken from everyday sources.
