Are you between 16 ' 18 years? Are you short of confidence or lacking the skills you need to get a job or further training? Are you interested in what Kingston Maurward College has to offer? Would you like to build your confidence, increase your skills and gain qualifications? If the answer is 'Yes', then Entry to Employment (e2e) may be for you.

You will get the chance to work on the farm or in the animal park. If you want to try gardening, you can join your colleagues working and training in our fantastic grounds. Interested in sport? Then you can take part in many of the outdoor activities that we offer ' ranging from team building on our ropes course to kayaking on the lake. For those of you with a head for heights, you can even try abseiling! We also have specialists coming in on a regular basis to offer you forge work or welding.

You can try all of these things and more, or you can simply just choose your one favourite vocation ' it's up to you. You will also be expected to work on improving your numeracy and literacy skills ' however these sessions are designed to be relevant to your vocational work whenever possible.

Everyone coming onto the e2e programme is eligible to apply for an Educational Maintenance Allowance and we will pay all your travel costs.

What qualifications will I need?
Minimum age 16 years. An interest in the vocational areas in which Kingston Maurward specialises.

What is involved?
The aim of e2e is to develop a programme that is individually tailored to meet the needs of all learners. This is usually a mix of vocational training and work experience in a practical environment with a small amount of classroom work.

Where will it take me?
Progression to Further Education, Apprenticeship or employment.

What materials are required?
Practical clothing, overalls, waterproofs, steel toe'capped safety boots, basic stationery. Tetanus protection is recommended.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment takes place throughout the year where relevant

How much will it cost?
