Course Description
Fine Art A Level will develop your skills, knowledge and understanding of Fine Art and your ability to respond to the world around you in a personal and creative way. It will enable you to develop a range of skills and knowledge including materials and practices in the discipline of Fine Art.

Course Content AS Level
Module 1: Develop your drawing and painting skills, delivered through thematic projects and includes working with a variety of media and materials
Module 2: Exam unit

A2 Level
Module 3: Personal Investigation; practical unit with written elements
Module 4: Exam unit; four week preparation with 15 hour exam Method of Assessment Examination and project based coursework

Career Progression
AS to A2
A2 progression onto the Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design, Higher Education e.g. HNC/D or BA (Hons)
