Full Time First Diploma ICT Practitioners

FIRST DIPLOMA IT PRACTITIONERS

This is an ideal course for students who are interested in I.T. and enjoy working on assignments rather than sitting examinations.
There is a dedicated workshop to allow students to complete the practical work for both upgrading computers and network administration.

Length of Course
One year full time.

What qualifications will I need to study on the course?
Three grade D grades in your GCSEs.

What will I study?
You will study six units over the year that cover presenting information, basic PC maintenance, computer networking and software applications.

Method of assessment
You will complete six internally assessed units.

What will I be able to progress to?
On completion of this course the majority of students progress on to a Level 3 course which will enable you to enter High Education.
