Length of Course:
2 years - full time
3 years - part time

Assessment:
Formal assessment will take a variety of forms - leading to the development of a range of valuable skills (both academic and vocational) in addition to assessment of core learning. This will include oral presentations, group and individual projects, reports, essays and exams. Industry based projects will include employer input and evaluation.

Throughout the course, informal formative assessment activities will enable students to reflect on their own ongoing progress. These activities - designed by lecturers to check student learning - will include seminar activities, role play, online quizzes and group discussions.

After the course:
On graduating, you could progress onto the final year of BA (Honours) Travel & Tourism at the University of Westminster or Westminster Kingsway College. Alternatively, you could find employment in the travel and tourism industry, this course provides you with a firm foundation on which to gain promotion to management level.

Typical careers for graduates include middle management careers in marketing, sales, operations, customer service and human resource management (HRM) across a diverse range of sectors including attraction management, retail travel, conferencing, Event management and tour operations.
