Course Description
The course provides students with the opportunity to broaden and deepen the Mathematics covered in AS and/or A2 Mathematics. It is for someone who enjoys mathematics, it provides a challenge and a chance to explore new and/or more sophisticated mathematical concepts. It provides a good general preparation in logical processes, rigour of argument and problem solving. AS Further Mathematics is designed to be learnt alongside AS Mathematics or taken up as a new subject alongside A2 Mathematics.
