What will I study?
A variety of both non-literary and literary texts, including a play by Shakespeare and a short anthology of poetry reflecting other cultures.
How will I be assessed?
You will be required to take two examinations (60%), your coursework will be worth (20%) and speaking and listening (20%).
Career Opportunities & Progression
This GCSE provides a foundation for AS and A level study in English Literature, English Language, and English Language and Literature. However, the skills developed are vital in the further study of any subject at an equivalent level.
