About this course
The entry requirements are four GCSEs at Grade C or above, a BTEC First Diploma or GNVQ Intermediate Art and Design. A current portfolio of work demonstrating creative ability will also be required. Entry qualifications may be waived for those students with an exceptional portfolio. Through the accreditation of prior learning it is possible to enter directly on to the second year of the course.

Summary
This specialist course will develop the student to a level of creative graphic design ability, allowing the opportunity to apply for trainee positions within the graphic design industry, as well as being a nationally recognised route into Higher Education. This is a full time course and students will be expected to attend College on at least 3 days per week with 2 days home study.
Qualifications
A National Diploma in Graphic Design awarded in conjunction with BTEC
Progression Routes
This course qualifies you for progression into Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) Degree courses in graphic design and related studies, or to employment opportunities within graphic design, advertising industry or illustration/publishing.
