Course Description:
This course is an introduction to the hairdressing industry and incorporates essential skills development.
Course Content:
The course covers:
· shampooing and conditioning hair
· contributing to perming and colouring processes
· assisting the salon with reception
· team work
· supporting health and safety in the salon.
You may also gain qualifications in Key Skills.
Assessment:
Continuous practical, oral and written assessment throughout the course, leading to the production of a portfolio to demonstrate competence.
Next Steps:
Successful completion of this course may enable you to progress to the Hairdressing NVQ Level 2 course.
