Summary
An introduction to work in the health and social care sector that provides a valuable foundation for progression into higher level courses or employment. A minimum of 60 hours work experience is an essential component of the course.
Qualifications
Edexcel Level 2 (BTEC) First Diploma in Health and Social Care.
Progression Routes
Students with a merit or preferably a distinction profile may progress onto the Health and Social Care or Children's Care Learning and Development National Diploma or NVQ programmes at level 3. Students may seek employment in the health care sector.
